There Are Many Different Hazards to Consider When Traveling

Travelon Can Stop Pickpockets

Whenever you are going to be traveling somewhere there are crowds, you are told to beware of pickpockets.  Especially in big cities, on public transportation and in big crowds “they” say there are lots of pickpockets.  One way to guard against them is to always be aware of your surroundings.  For women, a cross body bag is less likely to be snatched out of your grasp.  Of course, don’t leave a wallet sticking out of the open top of a purse.   Many companies that offer purses, handbags and luggage now offer RFID protection.  A company called Travelon  makes very stylish, lightweight bags that are perfect for traveling or every day. They take security way beyond run of the mill.  They offer locking zippers which are easy for the owner to open but take too much time for a crook to mess with.

How many times have you been in a restaurant and hung your purse over the back of your chair?  That’s an easy mark for a thief.  Travelon has a locking caribiner that allows you to attach the strap of your bag to the chair so no one can grab it and flee.  Evidently another popular m o for purse thieves is to carry a sharp knife and slash the side of a bag, reach in and take things.  These3 bags  have anti slash technology, so even though their bags are lightweight nylon, they are strong as iron.

Travelon Can Stop RFID Thieves

RFID means radio frequency identification.  More and more credit card companies. passports and driver’s licenses are being equipped with RFID chips.  By buying a very inexpensive card reader on the internet, a thief can merely walk by you without making contact and steal your information.  So something that is intended to make your life easier, can cause you major problems.  Especially when traveling this can be a huge problem.  This company includes many compartments in their bags, even credit card slots and passport pockets.  The pockets are often RFID protected.  So try while they might, a thief will not be able to steal your information through your bag.

Travelon Offers Style, Function and Peace of Mind

This line offers nylon purses that are full of function but very stylish as well.  Their bags are available in fashion colors with bright interiors.  I have one that fits all my necessities when I travel: my wallet, my passport, my iPad, my Kindle, medications, extra underwear! my regular small purse and lots more.  It’s a perfect carry on!  Did I mention they are mostly under $50? So go, explore the world and rest assured that you and your belongings are safe and secure.

Why and how to clean my washing machine Did you know that your washing machine can collect dirt and harbor bacteria and fungus? There is a thin film created by soap residue, minerals and chemicals from detergent. This can cause a clog in the inner workings of your machine, your water won't be as hot and the film also traps odors. The tiny crevices in the drum and gaskets can collect mildew and bacteria from your clothes. They can also harbor fungus. If you have a top loader here are some steps to follow when cleaning : Wipe interior seals around the door with all purpose cleaner Remove debris around filter or drain Use 1 cup of white vinegar with 1/2 cup baking soda then run a cycle on heat If you have a front loader here are some tips to follow when cleaning: Have a small bowl or towel ready to catch any excess water Remove the filter from the small door on the front panel of the machine Shake over trash can and rinse out. Use 1/2 cup baking soda and 3 cups white vinegar to scrub inside the drum and rubber gaskets You can use washing machine cleaner which can be purchased on line if you prefer Remove the fluids dispenser to clean each tray with disinfecting wipes Wipe out the area inside where the dispenser is located with the wipes If you have a "clean cycle" run the cycle, otherwise run the largest load setting on hot We hope this has been a quick and helpful guide for cleaning your washing machine . Remember, your washer should always smell fresh not like mildew.
