Tide Has Several New Formulas
Good Old Tide laundry Detergent
I have always used Tide for my laundry. I suppose it’s more a habit than a dedication to the brand. The regular old formula has always done the job but often left stains, especially grease based stains. This was true even after pre-treating with a stain remover like Shout or Spray and Wash. Although lately the folks at Proctor and Gamble have come up with some new products that really make laundry day a breeze.
Tide Boost and Tide Pods
Boost is a an ultra concentrated in-wash booster. Use it with your regular detergent by filling the laundry tub with water, detergent and clothing, then drop a capsule on the very top. I have found this removes even stains that have been through the washer AND dryer before.
Pods take the whole concept to another level by putting laundry detergent in the same pod with the stain remover. One stop shopping so to speak.
Tide Washing Machine Cleaner
Tide Washing Machine Cleaner is the best of the new Tide products. Who knew that you should be cleaning the inside of your washer? I figured the faint shadow of soap scum on the inside of my machine was the natural result of years and years of four loads of laundry a week.
Yesterday I bought and tried the new product. I followed the label directions and poured the pouch of crystals into the drum, then set the washer to cycle through the hot water cleaning cycle. As the cycle continued I noticed a very pleasant scent coming from the laundry room. I fell asleep before the cycle finished so didn’t open the washer until this morning. Every hint of soap scum was gone! The inside of my washer looks like the day it was delivered to my house. The cost of the product is about $3 per pouch and they come in a 3 pouch box.
I highly recommend all of these Tide products. Make your laundry day easier! And while you do your laundry, call Custom Maid at 499-8568 to come and do your weekly or bi-weekly cleaning. We can take the load off your shoulders. (Pun intended!)
