I LOVE Housecleaning and So Does My Staff

What I Love About Housecleaning

So you probably already think I’m crazy!  How could anyone really like housecleaning?  Yes, it is a physically demanding job, but you can look at that two ways.  First, it’s tiring and can cause aches and pains.  Second, it’s invigorating to do a physical job.  When you do housecleaning everyday, the first week or so you feel a few muscles that you had forgotten, but that all goes away and then every day is more like a great physical workout.  Over the years I have had many women come to work with me and a few months later they have lost weight and are feeling great.  Right now I have a few employees who leave work and go straight to the gym or to Mount Trashmore for a run.

There Is a Great Sense of Accomplishment Doing Housecleaning as a Job

You might think that it would be a boring job cleaning three or four houses five days a week.  It is far from that.  Each house is totally different from the last.  The décor, the furniture, the layout all vary.  I’ve gotten some great decorating ideas while housecleaning.Chesapeake VA, Chesapeake Virginia, Norfolk VA, Norfolk Virginia, Virginia Beach VA, Virginia Beach Virginia

We meet delightful people in the form of our clients.  Also, about 65% of the homes we clean are also home to dogs or cats so we get to make new furry friends.

The very best part of doing housecleaning as a job is the absolute sense of accomplishment when the house is finished.  You stand in the doorway of each room to give it a last glance to be sure everything is done properly and you get to think “I did this!  I made this room look great! Mrs. Jones is going to be so pleased when she arrives home from a hard day’s work!”  I ask you, what other job gives such instant gratification?
