We’ve all heard the old story about painting the Brooklyn Bridge. As soon as you get to the end, it’s time to begin all over again. Well, for many of us, it’s the same with our home. One day we find a few minutes to clean out a tub. Then the next day we dust the dining room. Followed by a day for mopping the kitchen floor and another day with a few minutes for changing bed linens. It seems like our entire life is spent cleaning one thing or another. Wouldn’t it be great if you could have your entire home cleaned all at one time. That way you wouldn’t need to address the issue for a whole week or even two weeks. With a very small amount of dealing with general home clutter, things should stay relatively clean for that length of time.
You can actually have your entire home clean all at the same time. You can gather the whole family around and assign each person a set of age appropriate tasks. The younger kids can certainly put their toys into toy boxes, baskets, or other containers. Older children can help clean your home by being assigned to dust certain rooms. The adults can tackle heavier duty tasks like scrubbing showers, mopping floors and cleaning kitchen and bathroom counters. If everyone begins at 9:00 Saturday morning, your home should sparkle by noon!
Or you can do a little due diligence and find a licensed, bonded and insured professional cleaning company in your area. Google “housecleaning” with the name of your city and you will find several good candidates.
